Plain-English bonus desk

About Us

Ethan McLeod

Okey Dokey is an independent editorial desk that translates casino bonus and wagering terms into plain English. “Okey dokey” is what you say once the fine print actually checks out — that’s the whole job here: reading a welcome-bonus offer, a no-deposit promotion, or a wagering-requirement clause, and saying plainly what it actually means for a player, without the marketing gloss. We are not a “best bonus” ranking site, not an operator, and not a ratings desk with invented scores.

What we publish

Every piece on this desk falls into one of four areas: welcome & deposit bonuses (how a first bonus offer actually works), wagering & terms (how wagering requirements are calculated and where players get tripped up), promotions & perks (free spins, cashback and the other recurring offers operators run) and player safety tools (cool-off periods, time-outs and the lighter alternatives to full self-exclusion).

Who writes this

Articles on this desk are published under the byline Ethan McLeod. We publish under this desk’s own editorial identity rather than claiming personal credentials we can’t verify for a reader — see the author page for the full byline note.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t publish star ratings, “top 10” rankings, or scored verdicts on operators.
  • We don’t claim payout speeds, RTP figures, or bonus terms without pointing to where that information actually comes from.
  • We don’t operate a casino, hold a gambling licence, or accept deposits from anyone. We are a publisher, not an operator.

Some links on this site are affiliate links — see the affiliate disclosure for exactly what that means and doesn’t mean. If you or someone you know is worried about gambling, our responsible gambling page has real, verified help lines, not a badge in a footer.
